Check the condition of the PWR ACCY Fuse A in the IP fuse block.

Is the fuse open?

  1. Remove the power door lock relay from the connector.
  2. Connect an J 35616-200 unpowered test lamp between the power door relay connector, cavity C for CKT 540 (ORN), and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter between the power door lock relay connector, cavity D for CKT 150 (BLK), and ground.

Is continuity present?

  1. Disconnect the left front door lock actuator motor connector.
  2. Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter between the left front power door lock actuator motor connector, cavity A, and the power door lock relay connector, cavity B, for CKT 294 (TAN).

Is continuity present?

Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter between the left front power door lock actuator motor connector, cavity B, and the power door lock relay connector, cavity E, for CKT 295 (GRY).

Is continuity present?

Repair the short to ground in CKT 540 (ORN).

Repair the open in CKT 540 (ORN) between the IP fuse block and the power door lock relay.

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the power door lock relay and ground G201.

Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Repair the open in CKT 294 (TAN) between the power door lock relay and splice S243.

Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
