Check condition of the PWR WDO fuse.

Is PWR WDO fuse open?

  1. Disconnect the left front power side window switch.
  2. Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter between the left front power side window switch connector, cavity G for CKT 150 (BLK), and ground.

Is continuity present?

--

Go to Step 5

  1. Place the ignition switch in the RUN position.
  2. Connect an J 35616-200 unpowered test lamp between the left front power side window switch connector, cavity H for CKT 343 (YEL), and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 8

Repair the short to ground in CKT 343 (YEL) between the IP fuse block and the left front or right front power side window switch.

Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the left front power side window switch and ground.

Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Replace the left front power side window switch.

Repair the open in CKT 343 (YEL) between the IP fuse block and splice S229.

Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?
