Does the system operate when the TCC/Stoplamp switch has been properly adjusted?

Visually and physically inspect the stoplamp bulbs.

Are the bulbs okay?

Replace the defective bulbs.

Did you complete the repair?

With the brake applied, measure the voltage at the stoplamp power feed at C202 cavity E4 (WHT).

Did the voltage equal battery voltage?

Repair the open circuit between C202 and the stoplamps.

Did you complete the repair?

  1. Disconnect the TCC/Stoplamp switch connector.
  2. Measure the voltage at the TCC/Stoplamp switch connector cavity E.

Did the measurement equal battery voltage?

B+

Repair the open CKT 140 (ORN) between the STOP fuse and the TCC/Stoplamp switch.

Did you complete the repair?

With the TCC/Stoplamp switch disconnected, activate the switch and test the continuity of the TCC/Stoplamp switch between terminals E and F.

Did the test indicate continuity?

Replace the TCC/Stoplamp switch.

Repair the open CKT 17 (WHT) between the TCC/Stoplamp switch and C202.
