  2. Touch the rear fog lamp relay and listen while an assistant turns on the rear fog lamps.

Can you verify that the relay is closing its contacts when the rear fog lamps are turned on?

  1. Remove the rear fog lamp relay.
  2. Connect a fused jumper between cavities B3 and A1 of the rear fog lamp relay socket

Is battery voltage available at cavity B3 in the rear fog lamp relay socket?

  1. Test the fog lamp for an open circuit.

Repair the open CKT 10 (YEL) between the headlamp switch and the rear fog lamp switch.

  1. Reinstall the rear fog lamp relay.
  2. Disconnect the rear fog lamp switch.
  3. Turn on the headlamp switch.
  4. Test the voltage at the cavity D of the rear fog lamp switch connector.

Is battery voltage available at cavity D of the rear fog lamp switch connector?

Repair the open CKT 10 (YEL) between the rear fog lamp relay and splice S250.
