Removal Procedure
  1. Siphon the power steering fluid from the reservoir.

    2. Object Number: 309295 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the hose (3) from the steering pump (2).
  3. Disconnect the hose from the reservoir (1).

    4. Object Number: 309294 Size: SH
  4. Remove the nuts (4) retaining the reservoir (3) to the vehicle.

    5. Remove the reservoir.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 309294 Size: SH
  1. Install the reservoir (3) to the vehicle.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the reservoir retaining nuts to 7 N·m (62 lb in).

  2. Connect the hose (3) to the reservoir (1).
  3. Connect the hose to the steering pump (2).
  4. Fill the reservoir with fluid. Refer to Checking and Adding Power Steering Fluid .
  5. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
