Service Power Steering Message DTC C0460 71 or C0545 00, Electric Intermittent Lamp Light (Bulletin Canceled - See Bulletin 07-02-32-009)

This bulletin is being canceled and replaced by Corporate Bulletin Number 07-02-32-009. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 07-02-35-003 (Section 02 -- Steering).

Some customers may comment that, intermittently, there may be no power steering assist and the "SERVICE POWER STEERING" warning message will appear. DTC C0460 71 and/or C0545 00 will be set. This condition may happen when the vehicle is first started and there is no power steering assist during the ignition key cycle. On the next ignition key cycle, the "SERVICE POWER STEERING" warning message will turn off and the steering assist will return.
