Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Inlet Hose Replacement LS9
Removal Procedure
- Place drain pans under the vehicle as needed.
- Remove as much power steering fluid from the remote power steering fluid reservoir as possible.
- Compress the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose clamp (1).
- Disconnect the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose (2) from the remote power steering fluid reservoir.
- Compress the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose clamp (1).
- Disconnect the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose (2) from the power steering pump.
- Remove the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Position the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose (2) to the vehicle.
- Compress the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose clamp (1).
- Connect the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose (2) to the power steering pump and release the clamp.
- Compress the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose clamp (1).
- Connect the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose (2) to the remote power steering fluid reservoir and release the clamp.
- Clean any excess power steering fluid from the vehicle and remove the drain pans.
- Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to
