3	Install a scan tool. Turn the ignition ON with the engine OFF. With a scan tool observe the Tonneau Ajar Switch Signal parameter in the body control module (BCM) Input Data 2 data list. Does the scan tool display open?	Go to Step 4	Go to Step 10
4	Disconnect the folding top lid latch. With a scan tool observe the Tonneau Ajar Switch Signal parameter in the BCM Input Data 2 data list. Does the scan tool display open?	Go to Step 5	Go to Step 7
5	Test for a short to ground in the signal circuit of the folding top lid latch ajar circuit. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs . Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 11	Go to Step 6
6	Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector of the BCM. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs . Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 11	Go to Step 8
7	Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector of the folding top lid latch. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs . Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 11	Go to Step 9
8	Replace the BCM. Refer to Control Module References for replacement, setup, and programming. Did you complete the replacement?	Go to Step 11	--
9	Replace the rear compartment lid latches. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid and Fuel Filler Door Release Switch Replacement . Did you complete the replacement?	Go to Step 11	--
10	Replace the instrument panel cluster (IPC). Refer to Control Module References for replacement, setup, and programming. Did you complete the replacement?	Go to Step 11	--
