Power Steering Leaks - keywords fitting fluid gear hose leak pump rack steer

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Engineering is looking for 2006-2007 Corvettes that may exhibit a power steering leak(s). At this time, engineering is only interested in vehicles located in South East Michigan approximately one hour drive from Milford Michigan.

If your dealer is interested in participating with this concern, please have your service manager and technician call the Vehicle Warranty Engineer Steve Miller at 248-939-1330. If Steve is not able to answer your call, please leave a message. If a return call is not received within 3 hours, repair the vehicle as necessary. Please be sure to have the repair order on hand when calling so the appropriate information can be given to Steve as needed.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
