For 1990-2009 cars only
The folding top cover will release when the tonneau release switch is operated. The folding top cover systems contains the following:
| • | Folding Top Cover Latch Actuator |
| • | Tonneau Release Switch |
| • | Body Control Module (BCM) |
| • | TONNEAU RELSE Relay |
When the tonneau release switch is operated the BCM receives a grounded open input. When this input is received by the BCM the TONNEAU RELSE is applies voltage through the BCM and battery voltage is provided to the folding top cover latch actuator. The actuator will then release the folding top cover.
