Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Drain the washer solvent from the washer solvent container.

  3. Object Number: 70094  Size: SH
  4. Remove the washer solvent container nuts.
  5. Remove the washer hose retention clamp from the frame rail stud.
  6. Remove the washer solvent container from the mounting studs in the wheelhouse.
  7. Disconnect the washer solvent container level sensor electrical connector.

  8. Object Number: 174219  Size: SH
  9. Disconnect the washer pump electrical connector.
  10. Disconnect the washer pump hose.
  11. Remove the washer solvent container from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 174219  Size: SH
  1. Position the washer solvent container to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the washer pump hose.
  3. Connect the washer pump electrical connector.

  4. Object Number: 70094  Size: SH
  5. Connect the washer solvent container level sensor electrical connector.
  6. Install the washer solvent container to the mounting studs in the wheelhouse.
  7. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  8. Install the washer solvent container nuts.
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  10. Install the washer hose retention clamp to the frame rail stud.
  11. Fill the washer solvent container with washer solvent.
  12. Close the hood.
