Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 95725  Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel cluster (IPC) from the vehicle. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the instrument panel (IP) dimmer switch.

  3. Object Number: 95726  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the driver information center (DIC) switch.

  5. Object Number: 95724  Size: SH
  6. Remove the IPC bezel retaining screws.
  7. Remove the bezel from the IPC.

  8. Object Number: 95722  Size: SH
  9. Remove the IP dimmer switch retaining screws.
  10. Remove the IP dimmer switch.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 95722  Size: SH
  1. Install the dimmer switch to the IP cluster bezel.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the retaining screws to the IP dimmer switch.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the retaining screws to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  5. Install the bezel to the IPC. Align the bezel onto the guide pins.
  6. Install the IPC bezel retaining screws.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the retaining screws to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  8. Connect the electrical connector to the IP dimmer switch.

  9. Object Number: 95726  Size: SH
  10. Connect the DIC switch electrical connector.
  11. Install the IPC to the vehicle. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
