Draining Fluids and Oil Filter Removal F Car

Tools Required

J 41712 Oil Pressure Sensor Socket


    Object Number: 639817  Size: SH

    Important: In order to completely drain the oil from the oil pan internal baffling, the bottom of the oil pan must be level during the oil drain procedure.

  1. Remove the oil pan drain plug and allow the oil to drain.

  2. Object Number: 178469  Size: SH
  3. Remove the engine oil filter.

  4. Object Number: 63164  Size: SH
  5. Remove the right rear engine block coolant drain plug and allow the coolant to drain.

  6. Object Number: 63165  Size: SH
  7. Remove the left front engine block coolant drain plug, if applicable, and allow the coolant to drain.

  8. Object Number: 65332  Size: SH
  9. Remove the engine block coolant heater, if applicable, and allow the coolant to drain.

  10. Object Number: 178483  Size: SH
  11. Use the J 41712 or equivalent in order to remove the oil pressure sensor, if required.

    Important: In order to completely drain the oil from the oil pan internal baffling, the bottom of the oil pan must be level during the oil drain procedure.

  1. Remove the oil pan drain plug and allow the oil to drain.

  2. Object Number: 63221  Size: SH
  3. Remove the engine oil filter.

  4. Object Number: 63164  Size: SH
  5. Remove the right rear engine block coolant drain plug and allow the coolant to drain.

  6. Object Number: 63165  Size: SH
  7. Remove the left front engine block coolant drain plug, if applicable, and allow the coolant to drain.

  8. Object Number: 65332  Size: SH
  9. Remove the engine block coolant heater, if applicable, and allow the coolant to drain.

  10. Object Number: 43569  Size: SH
  11. Use the J 41712 or equivalent in order to remove the oil pressure sensor, if required.
