Reattach or replace the terminal using one of the following methods:

1. Glue the terminal back onto the window using Locktite® Rear Window Defogger Tab Adhesive Kit P/N 21351, or equivalent.

Follow the manufactures instructions.

2. Solder a new terminal onto the window. Do not attempt to reuse the old terminal. It is very difficult to solder a used terminal to the window.

2.1.	Obtain a new terminal with the solder and flux already applied to the terminal.

2.2.	Protect the interior of the vehicle from the repair materials.

2.3.	Buff the repair area with a fine steel wool.

2.4.	Position the terminal to the window.

Use pliers, or equivalent, to hold the terminal firmly to the window.

Important: Do not over heat the terminal.

2.5.	Apply heat with a soldering iron to the terminal.

2.6.	Remove the iron as soon as the flux and solder melt.

2.7.	Hold the terminal to the buss bar until the solder has solidified.

2.8.	Connect the wire to the terminal.

2.9.	Remove the protective cover from interior of the vehicle.
