Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 70094  Size: SH
  1. Remove the washer solvent reservoir attaching nuts.
  2. Remove the hose retention clamp from the frame rail stud.
  3. Lift the washer solvent reservoir from the wheelhouse.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fluid level sensor.

  5. Object Number: 174219  Size: SH
  6. Disconnect the washer hose and the electrical connector from the washer pump.
  7. Remove the washer solvent reservoir.

  8. Object Number: 174222  Size: SH
  9. Drain the washer solvent from the washer solvent reservoir.
  10. Remove the washer pump and seal from the washer solvent reservoir.

  11. Object Number: 198652  Size: SH
  12. Remove the fluid level sensor from the washer solvent reservoir.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 198652  Size: SH
  1. Install the fluid level sensor into the washer solvent reservoir.

  2. Object Number: 174222  Size: SH
  3. Install the washer pump and seal into the washer solvent reservoir.

  4. Object Number: 174219  Size: SH
  5. Connect the electrical connector and the washer hose onto the washer pump.

  6. Object Number: 70094  Size: SH
  7. Connect the electrical connector onto the fluid level sensor.
  8. Place the washer solvent reservoir over the studs on frame rail and the wheelhouse.
  9. Install the hose retention camp to the frame rail stud.
  10. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  11. Install the washer solvent reservoir attaching nuts.
  12. Tighten
    Tighten the washer solvent reservoir nuts to 7.5 N·m (66 lb in).

  13. Fill the washer solvent reservoir with washer solvent.
