Test for air in the clutch hydraulic system.

Is there air in the clutch hydraulic system?

Bleed the clutch hydraulic system. Refer to Clutch Master Cylinder Replacement .

Does the clutch work properly?

System OK

Inspect the master cylinder for worn seals.

Are the seals worn?

Go to Step 8

Replace the necessary components. Refer to Clutch Master Cylinder Replacement .

Does the clutch work properly?

System OK

1. Remove the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement .
2. Check for a worn or damaged clutch actuator.

Is the clutch actuator worn or damaged?

Replace the clutch actuator or the release bearing. Refer to Clutch Actuator Cylinder Replacement .
