1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
2. Reposition the radiator surge tank outlet hose clamp at the surge tank.
3. Remove the radiator surge tank outlet hose (2) from the surge tank.
4. Reposition the radiator surge tank outlet hose clamp at the water pump.
5. Remove the radiator surge tank outlet hose (2) from the water pump.

Important: Lubricate the inside diameter of the outlet hose with clean coolant prior to hose installation.

1. Install the radiator surge tank outlet hose (2) to the water pump.
2. Position the radiator surge tank outlet hose clamp at the water pump.
3. Install the radiator surge tank outlet hose (2) to the surge tank.
4. Position the radiator surge tank outlet hose clamp at the surge tank.
5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
