RH Window Inoperative LH Switch

Use the RH door switch to operate the RH window UP and DOWN.

Does the RH window operate UP and DOWN from the RH door switch?

  1. Install a scan tool.
  2. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  3. Select LH DCM display DTC function on the scan tool.

Does the scan tool display DTC B2206 or B2208 as history?

  1. Use the LH door switch to operate the RH window UP.
  2. With a scan tool, observe the Passenger Window Up Switch parameter in the LH DCM data list.

Does the Passenger Window Up Switch parameter change state?

  1. Use the LH door switch to operate the RH window DOWN.
  2. With a scan tool, observe the Passenger Window Down Switch parameter in the LH DCM data list.

Does the Passenger Window Down Switch parameter change state?

Test the LH window up switch signal and ground circuit for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Test the LH window down switch signal and ground circuit for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Replace the LH DCM. Refer to Door Control Module Replacement .
