Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 63773 Size: SH
  1. Heat the emblem to between 32-38°C (90-100°F) to aid in removal.
  2. Peel the emblem from the lift window panel.
  3. Clean any remaining adhesive from the lift window panel using a adhesive and stripe removal disc or a suitable cleaner:
    4. • 3M® Scotch Bright Molding Adhesive and Stripe Removal Disc, or equivalent
    • 3M® General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner 08984, or equivalent

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 63773 Size: SH
  1. Clean any remaining adhesive from the lift window panel using an adhesive and Stripe removal disc or a suitable cleaner:
    2. • 3M® Scotch Bright Molding Adhesive and Stripe Removal Disc, or equivalent
    • 3M® General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner 08984, or equivalent
  2. Heat the emblem and contact surface of the lift window panel to between 32-38°C (90-100°F).
  3. Peel the protective liner from the adhesive on the back of the emblem.
  4. Position the emblem:
    5. • Centered to the centerline of the vehicle
    • 37 mm (1.5 in) forward of the rear edge of the lift window panel
  5. Press the emblem firmly in place. Use a hand roller to wet out the entire surface.
