Check the PKT/LP MiniFuse® #6 for an open.

Is the fuse open?

--

Go to Step 3

Repair a short to ground in CKT 240 or CKT 9.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

  1. Using a DMM, backprobe between connector C209 terminal Z and ground.
  2. Measure the available voltage at connector C209 terminal Z.

Is the voltage within the specified values?

10.0-14.0V

Go to Step 6

Repair an open in CKT 240.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

  1. Using a DMM, backprobe between connector C209 terminal R and ground.
  2. Move the headlamp switch to the PARK position.
  3. Measure the available voltage at connector C209 terminal R.

Is the voltage within the specified values?

10.0-14.0V

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 7

Replace the headlamp switch.

Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

  1. Connect a DMM between the underhood electrical center connector C2 terminal D11.
  2. Headlamp switch still in the PARK position.
  3. Measure the available voltage at the underhood electrical center connector C2 terminal D11.

Is the voltage within the specified values?

10.0-14.0V

Go to Step 10

Go to Step 9

Repair a poor connection or an open in CKT 9 between the connector C209 terminal R and the underhood electrical center connector C3 terminal D11.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

Replace the underhood electrical center.
