Has the Exterior Lights System Check been performed?

Is the HAZT/SIG fuse #15 open?

  1. Disconnect the hazard warning switch jumper harness connector C215.
  2. Using a test light, test for voltage at the instrument panel harness connector C215 terminal C.

Does the test light illuminate?

Go to Step 4

  1. Connect a fused jumper wire between terminals C and H, in the instrument panel harness connector C215.
  2. Operate the turn signal lever left and right.

Do the left and right turn signals illuminate?

Inspect and repair the high resistance, or open condition in circuit 16, if ok replace the multifunction switch.

Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle .

Is the repair complete?

Inspect and repair the high resistance, or open condition of circuits 1739 or 16 in the hazard warning switch jumper harness, if ok replace the hazard warning switch.

Refer to Hazard Warning Switch Replacement .

Repair the high resistance, or open condition of circuit 1739.

Inspect and repair the short to ground in circuit 1739, if ok replace the hazard warning switch.
