  1. Remove the DRL R Micro Relay #38 from the instrument panel electrical center.
  2. Connect a DMM between ground and the CKT 1966 terminal in the instrument panel electrical center which is used for the DRL R Micro Relay #38.
  3. Measure the voltage at the instrument panel electrical center CKT 1966 terminal which is used for the DRL R Micro Relay #38.

Is the voltage within the specified values?

10.0-14.0V

Go to Step 8

Replace the instrument panel electrical center.

Is the repair complete?

Connect a fused jumper (10 A) between the BAT terminal and the CKT 1315 terminal in the instrument panel electrical center which is used for the DRL R Micro Relay #38.

Does the RF turn/park illuminate?

--

Go to Step 10

  1. Leave the fused jumper (10 A) in place.
  2. Remove the RF turn/park lamp from its socket.
  3. Connect a DMM between the RF turn/park lamp socket terminal A and ground.
  4. Measure the voltage at terminal A.

Is the voltage within the specified values?

10.0-14.0V

  1. Reinstall the DRL R Micro Relay #38 back into the instrument panel electrical center.
  2. Disconnect the BCM connector C2.
  3. Connect a fused jumper (10 A) between the BCM connector C2 terminal D16 and ground.

Does the RF turn/park lamp illuminate?

Replace the BCM.

Refer to Body Control Module Replacement Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration .

Is the repair complete?

  1. Remove the DRL R Micro Relay #38 from the instrument panel electrical center.
  2. Connect a DMM between the instrument panel electrical center CKT 1966 terminal used for the DRL R Micro Relay #38 and the BCM connector C2 terminal D16.
  3. Measure the continuity between the instrument panel electrical center CKT 1966 terminal and the BCM connector C2 terminal D16.

Is CKT 1966 continuous between these two terminals?

  2. Measure for continuity between the RF turn/park lamp socket terminal G and ground.

Is the CKT 150 continuous to ground?

Repair an open in CKT 150 between the RF turn/park lamp socket terminal G and G102.

Is the repair complete?

Repair an open in CKT 1315 between the instrument panel electrical center and the RF turn/park lamp.

  1. Remove each of the right rear turn signal lamp bulbs from its socket.
  2. Connect a DMM between each of the right rear turn signal lamp socket terminal A and ground.
  3. Move the turn signal lever to the right hand turn position.
  4. Measure the available voltage at each of the right rear turn signal lamp sockets terminal A.

Does the voltage alternate between 0 volts and 12 volts?

  1. Connect the DMM between each of the RR turn/park lamp sockets terminal G and ground.
  2. Measure for continuity between each of the RR turn/park lamp socket terminal G and ground.

Is the CKT 150 continuous to ground?

Repair an open in CKT 150 between the RR turn/park lamp socket(s) terminal G and G401.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Using a DMM, backprobe the connector C209 terminal B with the positive lead.
  2. Connect the negative lead of the DMM to ground.
  3. Move the turn signal lever to the right hand position.
  4. Measure the voltage at terminal B.

Does the voltage alternate between 0 volts and 12 volts?

Repair the open in CKT 19.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the RR turn signal light bulb(s).

  1. Using a DMM, backprobe the connector C209 terminal B with the positive lead.
  2. Connect the negative lead of the DMM to ground.
  3. Move the turn signal lever to the right hand position.
  4. Measure the voltage at terminal B.

Does the voltage alternate between 0 volts and 12 volts?

Repair an open at connector C209 in both CKTs 15 and 19.

  2. Connect a DMM between ground and the CKT 1976 terminal in the instrument panel electrical center which is used for the DRL L Micro Relay #40.
  3. Measure the voltage at the instrument panel electrical center CKT 1976 terminal which is used for the DRL L Micro Relay #40.

Is the voltage within the specified values?

10.0-14.0V

Replace the instrument panel electrical center.

Connect a fused jumper (10 A) between the BAT terminal and the CKT 1314 terminal in the instrument panel electrical center which is used for the DRL L Micro Relay #40.

Does the LF turn/park illuminate?

--

Go to Step 10

  1. Leave the fused jumper (10 A) in place.
  2. Remove the LF turn/park lamp from its socket.
  3. Connect a DMM between the LF turn/park lamp socket terminal A and ground.
  4. Measure the voltage at terminal A.

Is the voltage within the specified values?

10.0-14.0V

  1. Reinstall the DRL L Micro Relay #40 back into the instrument panel electrical center.
  2. Disconnect the BCM connector C3.
  3. Connect a fused jumper (10 A) between the BCM connector C3 terminal A7 and ground.

Does the LF turn/park lamp illuminate?

Replace the BCM.

  1. Remove the DRL L Micro Relay #40 from the instrument panel electrical center.
  2. Connect a DMM between the instrument panel electrical center CKT 1976 terminal used for the DRL L Micro Relay #40 and the BCM connector C3 terminal A7.
  3. Measure the continuity between the instrument panel electrical center CKT 1976 terminal and the BCM connector C3 terminal A7.

Is CKT 1976 continuous between these two terminals?

  1. Remove each of the left rear turn signal lamp bulbs from its socket.
  2. Connect a DMM between each of the left rear turn signal lamp sockets terminal A and ground.
  3. Move the turn signal lever to the left hand turn position.
  4. Measure the available voltage at each of the left rear turn signal lamp sockets terminal A.

Does the voltage alternate between 0 volts and 12 volts?

  1. Connect the DMM between each of the LR turn/park lamp sockets terminal G and ground.
  2. Measure for continuity between each of the LR turn/park lamp sockets terminal G and ground.

Is the CKT 150 continuous to ground?

Repair an open in CKT 150 between the LR turn/park lamp socket(s) terminal G and G401.

Is the repair complete?

  3. Move the turn signal lever to the left hand position.
