Check the MONITORED LD MiniFuse ® #2 for an open.

Is the fuse open?

Go to Step 3

Repair CKT 640 for a short to ground.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Interior Lamps System Check

  1. Connect a DMM between the inoperative underhood lamp connector terminal B and ground.
  2. Measure for continuity to ground in the CKT 150.

Is the CKT 150 continuous to ground?

--

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 5

Repair CKT 150 for an open.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Interior Lamps System Check

  1. Connect the DMM between the inoperative underhood lamp connector terminal A and ground.
  2. Remove the MONITORED LD Micro Relay #37 from the Instrument Panel Electrical Center.
  3. Connect a fuse jumper between the BAT terminal and the CKT 640 terminal (which is used for the MONITORED LD Micro Relay #37) in the Instrument Panel Electrical Center.
  4. Measure the available voltage at the underhood connector.

Is the measured voltage within the specified value?

10.0-14.0V

Repair CKT 640 for an open.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the underhood lamp.
