Front Position Lamp Replacement Assembly, Europe, Japan

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 171878  Size: SH
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the front fascia lower closeout panel. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Lower Close Out Panel Replacement in Bumpers.
  3. Release the brake caliper cooling duct from the front fascia, then repositon the duct.

  4. Object Number: 95540  Size: SH
  5. Unlatch and open the lamp access door on top of the front fascia closeout.
  6. Remove the front position lamp socket from the lamp assembly.

  7. Object Number: 95539  Size: SH
  8. Remove the front position lamp retaining screw.
  9. Remove the front position lamp assembly.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 95539  Size: SH
  1. Position the front position lamp to the front fascia.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the front position lamp retaining screw.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the front postition lamp retaining screw to 2.0 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the socket to the lamp.
  6. Close the lamp access door on top of the front fascia closeout and secure the latch.

  7. Object Number: 171878  Size: SH
  8. Position the brake caliper cooling duct to the front fascia and push to secure.
  9. Install the front fascia lower closeout panel. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Lower Close Out Panel Replacement in Bumpers.
  10. Lower the vehicle.

Front Position Lamp Replacement Bulb, Europe, Japan

Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the front fascia lower closeout panel. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Lower Close Out Panel Replacement in Bumpers.
  3. Release the brake caliper cooling duct from the front fascia, then repositon the duct.

  4. Object Number: 95540  Size: SH
  5. Unlatch and open the lamp access door on top of the front fascia closeout.
  6. Remove the front position lamp socket from the lamp assembly.
  7. Remove the bulb from the socket.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 95540  Size: SH
  1. Install the bulb to the socket.
  2. Install the socket to the lamp.
  3. Close the lamp access door on top of the front fascia closeout and secure the latch.

  4. Object Number: 171878  Size: SH
  5. Position the brake caliper cooling duct to the front fascia and push to secure.
  6. Install the front fascia lower closeout panel. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Lower Close Out Panel Replacement in Bumpers.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
