  1. Disconnect the LH seat adjuster switch connector.
  2. Connect a DMM between the seat adjuster switch connector terminal 20 and ground.
  3. Measure the available voltage at terminal 20.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10.0-14.0V

Locate and repair an open or a high resistance in CKT 1740 between the instrument panel electrical center and the LH seat adjuster switch connector.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Disconnect the LH seat upper motor connector C1.
  2. Connect a DMM between the LH seat upper motor connector C1 terminal A and ground.
  3. Measure the available voltage at terminal A.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10.0-14.0V

Locate and repair an open or a high resistance in CKT 1140 between the instrument panel electrical center and the LH seat upper motor connector C1.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Disconnect the LH seat upper motor connector C2.
  2. Use a DMM to measure CKT 150 for continuity between the LH seat upper motor connector C2 terminal D and ground.

Is CKT 150 continuous to ground?

Locate and repair an open or a high resistance in CKT 150 between the LH seat upper motor connector C2 and G205.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Reconnect the LH seat adjuster switch connector.
  2. Connect a DMM between the LH seat upper motor connector C1 terminal D and ground.
  3. Press the Lower Lumbar Inflate button on the LH seat adjuster switch.
  4. Measure the available voltage at the LH seat upper motor connector C1 terminal D.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10.0-14.0V

  1. Disconnect the LH seat adjuster switch connector.
  2. Use a DMM to measure CKT 789 for continuity between the LH seat adjuster switch connector terminal 11 and the LH seat upper motor connector C1 terminal D.

Is CKT 789 continuous between these two connectors?

Locate and repair an open or a high resistance in CKT 789.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Connect a DMM between the LH seat upper motor connector C2 terminal A and ground.
  2. Press the Upper Lumbar Inflate button on the LH seat adjuster switch.
  3. Measure the available voltage at the LH seat upper motor connector C2 terminal A.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10.0-14.0V

  1. Disconnect the LH seat adjuster switch connector.
  2. Use a DMM to measure CKT 777 for continuity between the LH seat adjuster switch connector terminal 16 and the LH seat upper motor connector C2 terminal A.

Is CKT 777 continuous between these two connectors?

Locate and repair an open or a high resistance in CKT 777.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Connect a DMM between the LH seat upper motor connector C1 terminal E and ground.
  2. Press the Side Bolster Inflate button on the LH seat adjuster switch.
  3. Measure the available voltage at the LH seat upper motor connector C1 terminal E.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10.0-14.0V

  1. Disconnect the LH seat adjuster switch connector.
  2. Use a DMM to measure CKT 765 for continuity between the LH seat adjuster switch connector terminal 18 and the LH seat upper motor connector C1 terminal E.

Is CKT 765 continuous between these two connectors?

Locate and repair an open or a high resistance in CKT 765.

  1. Connect a DMM between the LH seat upper motor connector C2 terminal B and ground.
  2. Press the Side Bolster Deflate button on the LH seat adjuster switch.
  3. Measure the available voltage at the LH seat upper motor connector C2 terminal B.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10.0-14.0V

  2. Use a DMM to measure CKT 466 for continuity between the LH seat adjuster switch connector terminal 9 and the LH seat upper motor connector C2 terminal B.

  3. Press the Lower Lumbar Inflate button on the RH seat adjuster switch.

Is the voltage within the specified range?
