INADEQUATE RETENTION OF MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD

MODEL AND YEAR: 1986-87 CORVETTE WITH MANUAL TRANSMISSION

Some 1986 or 1987 Corvettes with manual transmissions may experience inadequate retention of the clutch master cylinder push rod attachment.

If the condition exists, remove the plastic bushing from the master cylinder push rod and replace with the following service parts. (Refer to Figure 1)
