SOME OWNERS MAY OBSERVE SCUFFED PAINT WHERE THE REAR OF THE FOLDING TOP CONTACTS THE FOLDING TOP STORAGE COMPARTMENT LID.
THIS SCUFFING IS CAUSED BY NORMAL BODY AND TOP FLEXING.
A PROTECTOR SYSTEM HAS BEEN RELEASED FOR THE FOLDING TOP STORAGE COMPARTMENT LID. PLASTIC STRIPS ARE APPLIED TO THE LID TO ACT AS AN INTERFACE BETWEEN THE TOP'S WEATHERSTRIP AND THE PAINTED COMPARTMENT LID. THIS WILL ADDRESS THE PAINT SCUFFING CAUSED BY NORMAL BODY/TOP FLEXING.
THESE STRIPS ARE APPLIED USING STANDARD DECAL INSTALLATION PROCEDURES.
