Condition
Important: If the customer did not bring their vehicle in for this issue, DO NOT proceed with this bulletin.
Some customer may comment that the molding located on the roof (roof ditch molding) may be loose or possibly missing (see graphics).
Correction
GM Engineering is attempting to determine the root cause of loose or missing roof ditch moldings. Engineering has a need to inspect and perform measurements on vehicles, prior to repair, that may exhibit this condition. If the vehicle exhibits this condition and is located in the Michigan, Northern Ohio or Northern Indiana area, please contact the following engineer:
