Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement 2.2L (L61)

Tools Required

J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
2. Lower the vehicle.



3. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp at the radiator using J 38185 .
4. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.



5. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp at the engine using J 38185 .
6. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the engine.

1. Install the radiator outlet hose to the radiator.
2. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp to secure the hose using J 38185 .



3. Install the radiator outlet hose to the engine.
4. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp to secure the hose using J 38185 .
5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .

Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement 2.0L (LSJ)

Tools Required

J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
2. Lower the vehicle.
3. Remove the air intake duct.
4. Remove the fan shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement .



5. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp at the radiator using J 38185 .
6. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.
7. Remove the underhood electrical center. Refer to Underhood Electrical Center or Junction Block Bracket Replacement .



8. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp at the engine using J 38185 .
9. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the engine.

1. Install the radiator outlet hose to the radiator.
2. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp to secure the hose using J 38185 .
3. Install the underhood electrical center. Refer to Underhood Electrical Center or Junction Block Bracket Replacement .



4. Install the radiator outlet hose to the engine.
5. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp to secure the hose using J 38185 .
6. Install the fan shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement .
7. Install the air intake duct.
8. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
