The exhaust system of the Right Hand Drive C/K truck is essentially similar to other C/K models except for the position of the front manifold pipe. In order to secure the exhaust pipe to the exhaust manifold, the exhaust system utilizes a flange and seal-joint coupling. Subsequent connections in the exhaust system utilize a slip-joint coupling design, with a clamp and a U-bolt. Refer to Engine Exhaust, in the 1999 C/K Service Manual.
