Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 416581 Size: SH
  1. Remove the accelerator cable from the throttle lever.

    2. Object Number: 416582 Size: SH
  2. Remove the accelerator cable from the engine cable bracket.
  3. Remove the accelerator cable from the mounting brackets on the drivers island.

    4. Object Number: 416584 Size: SH
  4. Remove the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal.
  5. Remove the accelerator cable from the floor panel.

Installation Procedure

Important: Observe the following when installing the accelerator cable in order to insure the proper operation of the accelerator controls:

   • Replace the accelerator cable with an identical replacement part.
   • Do not route the accelerator cable within 13 mm (0.52 in) at any point of the wires, cables, hoses or other flexible components.
   • The accelerator controls operate without binding between closed throttle and wide open throttle position.

  1. Install the accelerator cable to the floor panel.

  2. Install the accelerator cable to the accelerator pedal.
  3. Install the accelerator cable to the mounting brackets on the drivers island.

    4. Object Number: 416582 Size: SH
  4. Install the accelerator cable to the engine cable bracket.

    5. Object Number: 416581 Size: SH
  5. Install the accelerator cable to the throttle lever.
