Removal Procedure
  1. Raise the vehicle and support with safety stands. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

    2. Object Number: 181988 Size: SH
  2. Remove the oil filter from the oil filter adapter.
  3. Remove the oil pan drain plug and drain the engine oil.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 181988 Size: SH
  1. Install the oil filter to the oil filter adapter.
  2. Install the oil pan drain plug to the oil pan.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the oil pan drain plug to 28 N·m (21 lb ft).

  3. Remove the safety stands and lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  4. Fill the crankcase with oil. Refer to Approximate Fluid Capacities in Maintenance and Lubrication.
