The vehicle may have this feature, a load disconnect switch. The switch disconnects 12-volt vehicle loads and 24-volt trailer/aux loads that could cause a parasitic drain on the batteries.

Notice: If you will not be using your vehicle for a period of 48 hours or more, you will need to disconnect battery power from the vehicle to prevent the batteries from discharging. Continued discharging could damage the batteries. When this switch is in the OFF position the main battery feeds to the starter and NATO jump start connector remain powered.

The load disconnect switch (A) is located on the underhood fuse block. The underhood fuse block is located on the driver’s side of the vehicle, to the rear of the 24-volt battery.

The switch should be in the OFF position any time the expected vehicle storage time is to exceed 48 hours.
