Front Grille Missing from vehicle.

This is a product information update: Dealers can now (1/06) order full size Chevrolet Silverado pickups with the front grille deleted (RPO VNX) in order to customize the vehicle with GM Accessories at the dealership. This change does not apply to the Silverado SS models. This information is being provided to help ensure Transportation claims are not written for missing front end grilles if ordered with VNX. Part numbers and colors for the GM Accessory Grilles can be found in GM Messenger under message # CHE20050011 dated 6/10/05 (Archive Message Search).

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
