Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 1999 🢒 Chevy C Silverado - 2WD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L 🢒 Exhaust Manifold Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the exhaust pipe to exhaust manifold nuts. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement , Front Pipe Replacement in Engine Exhaust.
  3. Lower the vehicle.
  4. Remove the spark plugs from the engine. Refer to Spark Plug Replacement in Engine Electrical.

    5. Object Number: 260074 Size: SH
  5. Remove the exhaust manifold from the engine. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Removal .
  6. Clean and inspect all parts. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Cleaning and Inspection

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 260074 Size: SH
  1. Install the exhaust manifold to the engine. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Installation .
  2. Install the spark plugs to the engine. Refer to Spark Plug Replacement in Engine Electrical.
  3. Raise the vehicle.
  4. Install the exhaust pipe to exhaust manifold nuts. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement or Front Pipe Replacement in Engine Exhaust.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
