J 7754-01 Torque Wrench
Turn the screw ½ turn clockwise.
Count the turns.
Turn the stub shaft back to the center.
5.1. | Rotate the J 7754-01 through a 180 degree arc on each side of the center. |
5.2. | Make a note of the highest readings. The readings must be 0.8-1.9 N·m (7-17 lb in). |
The total reading must not exceed 3 N·m (27 lb in).
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the lock nut to 89 N·m (66 lb ft)
while holding the adjusting screw.
