This procedure should be utilized in order to release the park brake when the hydraulic system has failed and moving the vehicle is necessary.

Important: Do not cut the cable.

1. Block the vehicle wheels.



2. Remove the jam nut on the actuator end of the cable at the 2-piece fitting.
3. Hold the two-piece fittings larger 1 inch nut while turning the fittings smaller 7/8 inch nut to the right.
4. Continue to turn the 7/8 inch nut until the brake releases. Do not remove the cable.
