All male pipe threads not having pre-applied pipe sealant burnt orange in color and those parts with male pipe threads with pre-applied sealant that have been assembled and disassembled a maximum of 5 times must have pipe sealant applied before assembly.

1. Clean the threads. Remove all of the grease and oil with a clean cloth.

Important: The pipe thread sealant is not permissible on any internal diameters.

2. Inspect the threads for damage. Replace any damaged components.
3. Apply the pipe sealant with Teflon® GM P/N 12346004   (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent to the first few threads.
