Tools Required

Important: The J 26958 loading tools should still be in position from the Reaction Sun Gear to Input Drum End Play Check

1. Set theJ 8001 dial indicator so that the pointer is at zero.
2. Use J 28585 and carefully pry up on the reaction internal gear (668).
3. The J 8001 dial indicator should read 0.08-1.17 mm (0.003-0.046 in).
4. In order to select the correct selective spacer for the low roller clutch race, refer to the Reverse Clutch Housing to Low Race Selective Spacer table in End Play Specifications .
5. Remove the J 8001 and the J 28588 .
