Instrument Panel Air Deflector Replacement Chevrolet

Important: Instrument Panel (I/P) Trim Pad should be at room temperature before removal of the air outlet deflector. This will allow the I/P trim pad to be more pliable during removal of the air deflector outlet.




1. Wrap the ends of the needle nose pliers with tape to avoid maring the surface of the air outlet deflector, if being reused.



2. Remove the air outlet deflector from the I/P by pulling from right and left side of the air outlet deflector.

1. Position the air outlet deflector to the I/P.



2. Install the air outlet deflector to the I/P pressing into place until fully seated.
3. Inspect the air outlet deflector for proper movement.
