  1. Disconnect the multi-function alarm module connectors.
  2. Connect a test light between the multi-function alarm module connector C2 terminal D and the multi-function alarm module terminal E.

Did the test light illuminate?

Go to Step 3

Replace the multi-function alarm module. Refer to Multifunction Alarm Module Replacement .

Did you complete the repair?

Connect the test light between the multi-function alarm module connector C2 terminal D and ground.

Did the test light illuminate?

--

Go to Step 5

Inspect for a faulty connection at the multi-function alarm module connector C2 terminal D.

Is the connection OK?

Repair the faulty connection at the multi-function alarm module connector C2 terminal D. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Measure the resistance in CKT 150 between the multi-function alarm module connector C2 terminal E and ground.

Is the resistance within the specified range?

0-2 ohms

Repair an open in CKT 150 between the multi-function alarm module connector C2 terminal E and ground. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Repair an open in CKT 340 between the multi-function alarm module connector C2 terminal D and the fuse block. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
