Removal Procedure

The rear floor heat duct is located under the console and the floor carpeting.

  1. Remove the console. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  2. Partially remove the floor carpeting to the rear of the front seat. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.

  3. Object Number: 302656  Size: SH
  4. Remove the rear floor duct (3).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 302656  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the rear floor duct (3).
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the floor carpeting.
  4. Install the console. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
