FALSE OVERHEATING AFTER HOT SOAK

MODEL AND YEAR: 1986 CAVALIER WITH ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENT PANEL (RPO U52)

Some 1986 Cavaliers equipped with the electronic cluster (Option U52), may experience a false overheat condition after a short hot soak period in high ambient temperatures. When this condition occurs it will be necessary to remove and ship the cluster to the authorized repair station for repairs.
