BROKEN A/C COMP. DISCH. PIPE INSTALL BRACKET AND CLAMP

Model and Year: 1985-86 CAVALIER WITH 2.0L (VIN CODE P) ENGINE

Some 1985-86 Cavalier models with 2.0L engines may experience a broken air conditioning compressor discharge pipe. If this occurs, a bracket and clamp to support the muffler is now available to prevent recurrence of the failure. Bracket and clamp support kit, P/N 22535625 is now available from WDDGM and should be installed. The bracket can be installed by removing the compressor to bracket bolt and installing the bracket and clamp as shown in Figure 1.
