Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.

    3. Object Number: 1797644 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the front wheel speed sensor.

    4. Object Number: 1797646 Size: SH
  4. Remove the bolt (2) and the front wheel speed sensor (1).

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1797646 Size: SH
  1. Install the bolt (2) and front wheel speed sensor (1) and tighten to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

    2. Object Number: 1797644 Size: SH
  2. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the front wheel speed sensor.
  3. Install the front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
