Subject: | Headlamp Control Too Sensitive, Headlamps Come On During Daylight (Reprogram BCM) |
Models: | 2007 Chevrolet Captiva (Export Only) |
Some customers may comment that the headlamps come on or switch on and off during daylight, especially when briefly passing under shaded areas such as trees and overpasses.
The automatic headlamp control light sensor may be too sensitive to brief changes in light intensity.
A revised BCM calibration has been developed to address this issue. Reprogram the BCM using SPS with the latest software available on TIS2WEB. Refer to the Body Control Module Programming and Setup procedure in SI. As always, make sure your Tech 2® is updated with the latest software version.
