1. Remove the front seat from the vehicle. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement.
2. Remove the back panel.



3. Remove the each seat trim.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
5. Remove the bolts and the seatback.

1. Install the seatback onto the seat cushion.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

2. Install the front seatback bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the front seatback bolts to 45 N·m (33 lb ft).

3. Connect the electrical connectors.



4. Install the seat trims to its original position.
5. Install the back panel onto the seat.
6. Install the front seat in the vehicle. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement.

Front Seat Back Replacement Manual Seat

1. Remove the front bucket seat from the vehicle. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement.

Important: The seat back panel (2) must be removed from the bottom edge first and lowered downwards to remove.

2. Using a suitable tool, disengage the seat back panel retention clips (1) and remove the seat back panel (2) from the seat (3).
3. Remove the seat side trim. Refer to Front Seat Trim Panel Replacement.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the body harness.



5. Remove the front seat back fasteners (1) from the seat assembly (2).
6. Remove the seatback from the seat assembly (2).

1. Install the seatback onto the seat assembly (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

2. Install the front seatback fasteners (1).

Tighten
Tighten the front seatback fasteners to 45 N·m (33 lb ft).

3. Connect the electrical connectors to the body harness.




Important: The top edge of the seat back panel must be installed first.

4. Install the seat back panel (2) onto the seat (3) engage the seat back panel retention clips (1).
5. Install the seat side trim. Refer to Front Seat Trim Panel Replacement.
6. Install the front bucket seat into the vehicle. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement.

Front Seat Back Replacement Power Seat

Important : The seat back panel (2) must be removed from the bottom edge first and dropped downward to remove.

1. Remove the front bucket seat from the vehicle. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement.
2. Using a suitable tool, disengage the seat back panel retention clips (1) and remove the seat back panel (2) from the seat (3).
3. Remove the seat trim. Refer to Front Seat Trim Panel Replacement.



4. Disconnect the power seat recline motor electrical connector (1).



5. Remove the front seat back fasteners (1) from the seat assembly (2).
6. Remove the seatback (3) from the seat assembly (2).

1. Install the seatback (3) onto the seat assembly (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

2. Install the front seatback fasteners (1) into the seat assembly (2).

Tighten
Tighten the front seatback fasteners to 45 N·m (33 lb ft).




3. Connect the power seat recline motor electrical connector (1).
4. Install the seat trim. Refer to Front Seat Trim Panel Replacement.




Important: The top edge of the seat back panel (2) must be installed first.

5. Install the seat back panel (2) onto the seat (3) engage the seat back panel retention clips (1).
6. Install the power seat trim. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement.
7. Install the front seat into the vehicle. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement.
