  7. Object Number: 220600 Size: SH
  8. Remove the catalytic converter nuts attaching the left oxidation catalytic converter to the right converter.
  9. Remove the left oxidation catalytic converter from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 220600 Size: SH
  1. Install the left oxidation catalytic converter to the vehicle.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the catalytic converter nuts attaching the left oxidation catalytic converter to the right converter.
  4. Tighten
Tighten the catalytic converter nuts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

    Object Number: 220599 Size: SH
  5. Install the exhaust manifold pipe nuts to the exhaust manifold.
  6. Tighten
Tighten the exhaust manifold pipe nuts to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).

    Object Number: 222952 Size: SH
  7. Install the heated oxygen sensor to the left oxidation catalytic converter.
  8. Tighten
Tighten the heated oxygen sensor to 42 N·m (31 lb ft).

    Object Number: 222951 Size: SH
  9. Connect the heated oxygen sensor electrical connector.
  10. Lower the vehicle.
