FRONT FASCIA EXTENSION MOLDING ==============================
(FIGURE 1)
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT:
1. RAISE AND SUITABLY SUPPORT VEHICLE. REFER TO SECTION 0A IN THE SERVICE MANUAL.
2. TURN FRONT WHEELS TO ACCESS RIVETS AT WHEELWELL FLANGE.
3. DRILL OUT PLASTIC RIVETS ATTACHING EXTENSION MOLDING TO FRONT FASCIA USING A 7/32 INCH DRILL BIT.
4. EXTENSION MOLDING FROM FRONT BUMPER FASCIA.
- REMOVE EXTENSION MOLDING FROM WHEELWELL FLANGE, THEN PULL STRAIGHT OFF TOWARD FRONT OF VEHICLE.
INSTALL OR CONNECT:
1. EXTENSION MOLDING TO FRONT BUMPER FASCIA.
- WHEN INSTALLING FRONT FASCIA EXTENSION MOLDING, START AT CENTER BODY LINE, AND USING A RUBBER MALLET, INSTALL MOLDING INTO RETAINERS AND OVER WHEELWELL FLANGE.
2. RIVETS ATTACHING EXTENSION MOLDING TO FRONT FASCIA.
3. STRAIGHTEN FRONT WHEELS.
4. LOWER VEHICLE.
REAR FASCIA EXTENSION MOLDING =============================

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT:
1. RAISE AND SUITABLY SUPPORT VEHICLE. REFER TO SECTION 0A IN THE SERVICE MANUAL.
2. REAR TIRES AND WHEELS. REFER TO SECTION 3E IN THE SERVICE MANUAL.
3. DRILL OUT RIVETS ATTACHING EXTENSION MOLDING TO REAR FASCIA USING A 7/32 INCH DRILL BIT.
4. EXTENSION MOLDING FROM REAR BUMPER FASCIA.
- REMOVE EXTENSION MOLDING FROM WHEELWELL FLANGE, THEN PULL STRAIGHT OFF TOWARD REAR OF VEHICLE.
INSTALL OR CONNECT:
1. EXTENSION MOLDING TO REAR BUMPER FASCIA.
- WHEN INSTALLING REAR BUMPER FASCIA EXTENSION MOLDING, START AT LEFT OR RIGHT WHEELWELL FLANGE, AND USING A RUBBER MALLET, INSTALL MOLDING INTO RETAINERS.
2. RIVETS ATTACHING EXTENSION MOLDING TO REAR FASCIA.
3. REAR TIRES AND WHEELS. REFER TO SECTION 3E IN THE SERVICE MANUAL.
4. LOWER MANUAL.
FASCIA EXTENSION MOLDING RETAINER REPLACEMENT =============================================

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT:
1. DRILL OUT PLASTIC RIVETS ATTACHING FRONT OR REAR EXTENSION MOLDING (1 OR 3) TO VEHICLE.
2. FRONT OR REAR EXTENSION MOLDING (1 OR 3) FROM VEHICLE.
3. DRILL OUT ALUMINUM RIVETS ATTACHING FASCIA EXTENSION MOLDING RETAINER (2) TO VEHICLE USING A 7/32 DRILL BIT.
4. FASCIA EXTENSION MOLDING RETAINER (2) FROM VEHICLE.
INSTALL OR CONNECT:
1. FASCIA EXTENSION MOLDING RETAINER (2) TO VEHICLE.
2. ALUMINUM RIVETS ATTACHING NEW FASCIA EXTENSION MOLDING RETAINER (2) TO VEHICLE.
3. FRONT OR REAR EXTENSION MOLDING (1 OR 3) TO VEHICLE.
4. PLASTIC RIVETS ATTACHING FRONT OR REAR EXTENSION MOLDING (1 OR 3) TO VEHICLE.
REAR DECK SPOILER =================

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT:
1. REAR COMPARTMENT LIFT WINDOW INNER PANEL COVER. REFER TO SECTION 10-8 IN THE SERVICE MANUAL.
2. HIGH MOUNT STOPLAMP FROM REAR END SPOILER. REFER TO SECTION 8B IN THE SERVICE MANUAL.
3. REAR END SPOILER FROM REAR COMPARTMENT LIFT WINDOW PANEL. REFER TO SECTION 10-8 IN THE SERVICE MANUAL.
- CAREFULLY PLACE REAR END SPOILER UPSIDE DOWN ON A CLEAN, SMOOTH, SOFT SURFACE.
4. NUTS ATTACHING REAR DECK SPOILER TO REAR END SPOILER.
5. REAR DECK SPOILER FROM REAR END SPOILER.
INSTALL OR CONNECT:
1. REAR DECK SPOILER TO REAR END SPOILER.
2. NUTS ATTACHING REAR DECK SPOILER TO REAR END SPOILER.
TIGHTEN -
TIGHTEN NUTS TO 8.5 N.M (75 LB IN).
3. REAR END SPOILER TO REAR COMPARTMENT LIFT WINDOW PANEL. REFER TO SECTION 10-8 IN THE SERVICE MANUAL.
- CAREFULLY PLACE REAR END SPOILER ONTO REAR COMPARTMENT LIFT WINDOW PANEL, TAKING CARE NOT TO SCRATCH THE PAINT ON THE LIFT WINDOW PANEL.
4. HIGH MOUNT STOPLAMP TO REAR COMPARTMENT LIFT WINDOW PANEL. REFER TO SECTION 8B IN THE SERVICE MANUAL.
5. REAR COMPARTMENT LIFT WINDOW INNER PANEL COVER. REFER TO SECTION 10-8 IN THE SERVICE MANUAL.
REAR DECK SPOILER EXTENSION ===========================

3. SPARE TIRE AND JACK, IF SERVICING RIGHT SIDE EXTENSION.
4. REAR SPEAKER, IF SERVICING LEFT SIDE EXTENSION. REFER TO SECTION 10-4 IN THE SERVICE MANUAL.
5. NUTS ATTACHING REAR DECK SPOILER EXTENSION TO REAR QUARTER PANEL.
6. REAR DECK SPOILER EXTENSION FROM REAR QUARTER PANEL.
INSTALL OR CONNECT:
1. REAR DECK SPOILER EXTENSION TO REAR QUARTER PANEL.
2. NUTS ATTACHING REAR DECK SPOILER EXTENSION TO REAR QUARTER PANEL.
TIGHTEN -
TIGHTEN NUTS TO 8.5 N.M (75 LB IN).
3. REAR SPEAKER, IF REMOVED. REFER TO SECTION 10-4 IN THE SERVICE MANUAL.
4. JACK AND SPARE TIRE, IF REMOVED.
5. QUARTER INNER REAR TRIM FINISHING PANEL. REFER TO SECTION 10-4 IN THE SERVICE MANUAL.
6. SUNSHADE, IF EQUIPPED. REFER TO SECTION 10-9 IN THE SERVICE MANUAL.
ROCKER PANEL EXTENSION ======================

2. BOLTS/SCREWS (10) ATTACHING ROCKER PANEL EXTENSION TO VEHICLE.
TIGHTEN -
TIGHTEN BOLTS/SCREWS TO 1.5 N.M (13 LB IN).
3. PLASTIC RIVETS ATTACHING ROCKER PANEL EXTENSION.
4. STRAIGHTEN FRONT WHEELS.
5. LOWER VEHICLE.
