SUBJECT: SERVICE MANUAL UPDATE - SECTION 10-6 - DOOR LOCK STRIKER BOLT/SCREW TORQUE SPECIFICATION

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1993 "F" MODEL

APPLICATION: 1993 Chevrolet and Pontiac "F" Cars

This update is to identify a change to the front side door lock striker bolt/screw torque specification. In the 1993 F-car Service Manuals, Section 10-6, the torque specification was published at 24 N.m (18 lb.ft.). The revised torque specification is now 34 N.m (25 lb.ft.). Please note this in your Service Manual.
